Irene Cruciani

Irene Cruciani is graduated from Sapienza, Università di Roma in Aerospace Engineering, where she subsequently obtained a PhD. After a short experience in Turin in R&D team of Alenia Aeronautica, she joined AVIO in 2004, following the development of Vega and Vega-C launchers, as member of Guidance Navigation and Control team, with always growing responsibilities. She has participated to FPSA program, the Flight SW developed by AVIO and used with success for all the production flights of Vega, reused for Vega-C and for the launchers currently in development. Currently she is Responsible of Flight Mechanics, GNC and Software team, in charge of trajectory definition, GNC algorithms development and Flight SW design and qualification for all the launch systems (both for production and development phases)
