Stefano Stefanile

Stefano joined Avio as Director of Institutional Affairs in December 2022. As a career diplomat, he had held, from 2018 to 2022, the Ambassadorial position of Deputy Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in New York.

He had previously served in other Italian diplomatic Missions (London, Athens, Tokyo) and held various senior positions at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, including as Principal Director for Global Issues and G7/G20 processes during Italy’s G7 Presidency in 2017.

Stefano holds a degree in Economics from the University Federico II of Naples. He is married and has two children.
